Varicose Vein Treatment costs

This is an easy guide to the costs of consultations and treatments for varicose veins.

An initial consultation at West Midlands Veins Clinic is £249 including a detailed Duplex ultrasound scan of your legs. When you are seen at Stourside Healthcare in Stourbridge Jeremy will see you personally to discuss your symptoms, examine your leg veins and explain the treatment required to give you the results you are looking for.

For self-pay clients, costs may vary depending on your treatment needs. All varicose vein removal prices include radiofrequency ablation of any feeding veins in a leg, micro-phlebectomies, foam sclerotherapy if indicated and a pair of compression stockings to go home in.

The number of sessions required to treat your thread veins and achieve the results you are looking for, varies hugely from patient to patient. On average, we recommend between 2-4 sessions. The cost per session £349

All patients are also invited to book a free follow-up consultation and scan if required.

Many providers offer foam sclerotherapy for feeder veins and or varicosities which may be cheaper but will not offer the same cosmetic or long-lasting result. Similarly, many providers split the costs into components rather than package prices for a leg.

Not all varicose veins will need treatment. Jeremy Newman has years of experience as a vascular consultant and will provide expert assessment and investigation of your veins and will quickly be able to suggest the best course of treatments and options for your varicose veins. He can also help with cosmetic removal and treatments which are unavailable through the NHS. Treatment of varicose veins becomes important when varicose veins are painful, if they cause the surrounding skin to become sore or inflamed, or if painful veins begin to interfere with your sleep.
